How to become a community partner

Trafford College Community Learning prides itself on the number and range of community partnerships we have in place and even though we like to think we know Trafford very well indeed, we know that there are still some organisations we do not currently work with. Could one of those organisations be you?

The remit of Community learning is to continually develop new partnerships across Trafford while upholding the Government’s Pound Plus strategy ensuring we reach into every corner of our local communities and are able to offer consistent, quality and affordable learning that meets the needs of the Trafford population.

We have a proud record of working with some exceptional community partners and across a variety of different projects. As part of a Skills Funding Agency funded FE College, we are able to deliver courses that are sometimes free at the point of delivery or available to learners at a very competitive rate.

We can also work with partners who have discrete cohorts of learners and our programmes can be tailored to meeting the sometimes complex needs of specific cohorts.

We are currently funded to offer course provision in:

  • PCDL – Personal Community Development Learning
  • NLDC – Neighbourhood Learning in Deprived Communities
  • WFL – Wider Family Learning
  • FEML – Family English, Maths & Language
  • ASB – Adult Skills Budget – Qualifications in a range of subjects

We also are approved by many different awarding bodies including; City & Guilds, NCFE, Ascentis, CIEH, Execel and more.

If your organisation is looking for a knowledgeable and flexible provider to deliver quality learning for you, we would love to work with you!
