Foundation & Supported Learning Provision Proposed Changes for 2016/17

Trafford College is consulting about proposed changes to Foundation & Supported Learning Provision. If you have a question, or would like to make a comment, please complete the form below. The last day for comments is 11 March 2016.Why are we making changes?
Over the last 3 years Trafford College has seen a reduction in its funding by approximately £3M. This has made it necessary to review all areas of activity and streamline delivery of further education, whilst ensuring that students joining the college have clear pathways into further & higher education, apprenticeships and employment.

What are the key changes proposed?
• Entry 1 level Supported Learning courses will no longer be offered as they do not map onto other courses offered at Trafford College.
• Supported Learning will be offered for learners aged 16 – 24 at Entry 2 & Entry 3 level, linked to vocational/employment pathways as opposed to independent living pathways.
• Supported Learning provision will move to our Altrincham campus.
• All full time ESOL courses will be offered at our Stretford campus.

How can I comment?
