Part Time Home Worker - Reach Communications - Closing date 29/05/2017

Reach Communications is an established Sales and Marketing company, with credible clients and a great innovative place to work.

Our team are all home workers, we moved our business model from office workers when it was clear that the stress of travelling to and from work, working around family caused quite a lot of stress and wasted time.

We have people working for us based all over the world now and as we are growing, due to the quality of the work that we are doing, we have more opportunities for home workers.

The role itself is phone based, our clients are companies that want us to make customer service calls to their customers, take orders, answer their phones, make appointments for their sales people to attend.

The type of person that we are looking for is someone who can work from home 16 - 20 hours per week. You will have training but the core ability to be confident on the telephone is key, to understand small business and be able to find a decision maker is also key.

We provide training and you will be part of our team and so will be involved in daily/weekly calls and catch ups. You will be assigned to look after particular accounts and you will not have to do any direct selling. This is not a sales role where you have to close deals etc.

We use cloud based systems, provide the costs of all calls as we use soft phones via VOIP. You will be expected to have a reliable PC or laptop and have a fast internet connection.

This is not a self starter, hard core sales role, this is for someone who wants to use their initiative to be part of a growing team, but enjoy the flexibility of home working and not be micro-managed.

What will I be doing?

As a Food and Beverage Attendant, you will be responsible for upholding the highest quality standards for the food and beverage (Food and Beverage) operations inside of our restaurants, bars, banquets facilities, in-hotel cafes, and to fulfill room service requests. You will work with your Team Members to deliver a high quality service experience that exceeds customer expectations through the following tasks:

  • Receive orders and serve customer requests completely in a timely manner, including but not limited to serving as a barista or cocktail attendant/bartender, if required

I have just bought a franchise from DE Photo, an established and highly experienced event photography company, offering both photography and on site viewing/sales solution to clubs and organisations in the SK post code area (Stockport, Wilmslow, Macclesfield).

Events covered are mainly youth events including football, gymnastics, dance, swimming, rugby, netball and many others.

Job Description

I will be looking for an assistant to work with me on a freelance/part time basis from the end of June onwards. Their role will be to operate the Event Photography specific computer software programme, creating prints to customers’ requirements and then selling them to customers. The role will involve regular weekend work with events usually taking up full days Saturdays and Sundays. The only quieter months tend to be August and January.   Software training will be given at DE’s headquarters in Surrey when I attend for my own photography training.  I will cover the costs of travel, accommodation and training for the successful applicant and this is likely to be mid June, lasting 5 days. For this financial commitment from me I would expect a similar commitment to my business in return. 

Requirements

Some photography knowledge
Ability to work quickly and effectively with customers in a calm and polite manner under pressure
Reliable with good communication skills
CRB/DBS check or willing to apply immediately if you don’t currently have
