Personal Tutor

When you enrol on a full time course, you will be teamed up with a Personal Tutor who you will have regular meetings with. Your Personal Tutor is on hand throughout your time at Trafford College to:

  • Provide you with support and guidance
  • Discuss your progress and any concerns you may have
  • Always refer you to someone if they are unable to resolve an issue

iTrafford

The College student intranet gives you 24 hour access to course materials and resources from wherever you are. It is your gateway to:

  • News and events

  • Library and learning resources

Counselling

We understand that there may be other factors that can affect your progress and personal development whilst at College. This is why the College has a professional Counsellor on site with whom you can talk to in confidence about any worries you may have.

Disability Support

Support for Learners with Disabilities or Learning DifficultiesThe Study Support Service exists to help all our learners, regardless of disability or learning difficulties, achieve success on their programme of study. Support is confidential and is provided according to individual needs. The College enrolment form gives all learners the opportunity to disclose their disability and/or learning difficulty and mechanisms are in place to invite learners to discuss their needs more fully.Equipment and Resources Available to Assist LearnersWhenever possible the College will access equipment and resources to assist learners with disabilities and learning difficulties. The College will endeavour to meet the needs of the Disability Discrimination Act and provide accommodation, access and learning resources to ensure equality of opportunity. This service is available throughout your studies and is designed to suit your needs, helping boost your confidence and achieve your goals.

Chaplaincy

Trafford College Chaplains are on hand to support you spiritually and emotionally. They are available to listen to your questions, hopes, concerns and problems, and help you explore faith issues, interests and questions.
