Motor Vehicle

The number of drivers on the road has dramatically increased therefore there is an increasing demand for well qualified vehicle technicians. Our Motor Vehicle courses provide students with the best possible start to progress onto a career in this industry, and even if you decide not to continue with this course at a higher level you will have learnt skills which will be useful in everyday life. Motor Vehicle technicians work in a variety of environments, from the newer service centres which may be owned by big brands to smaller more traditional garages or are even self-employed. You may also work on-the-road as a breakdown specialist, using your own initiative and problem solving skills. You will study in our specialist Motor Vehicle workshops with industry standard equipment and highly trained professional tutors to help you get ahead.

Courses take place at our Technology Centre.

Introduction To Motor Vehicle Skills (14-16)

This course is an ideal starting point for students interested in working in the Motor Vehicle industry.

Our fully equipped Motor Vehicle workshops include a range of makes and models of vehicles and specialist equipment such as engine diagnostic equipment and air conditioning systems, to support students in the development of their practical Motor Vehicle Skills
