Adult Courses
The object of the course is to give candidates sufficient knowledge to carry out essential maintenance of their own vehicles, as well as giving confidence when dealing with garage staff.
The course is designed to be flexible in approach to take into account the individual needs of the participants.
Topics to be covered include: Working on vehicles safely; adjusting tyre pressures; changing a wheel and tyre safely; checking and topping up fluid levels;replacing a leaking radiator hoses; replacing fan belts; replacing fan belts; replacing side light bulbs and headlight bulbs; checking and replacing spark plugs; replacing engine oil and filters;replacing pollen filters; replacing brake pads and basic fault diagnosis procedures for engines
