As a beauty therapist you could work for yourself, run your own business, work at a luxury spa….the opportunities are endless. To start a career in beauty it is essential that you have the correct qualifications. There are many options, you will be expected to have a Level 2 or 3 Diploma, or you could also earn whilst you learn with a Beauty Therapy apprenticeship.
The standard salary for a beauty therapist is between £12,000 – £19,000 per year, with commission, bonuses and tips on top and a Salon manager can earn over £25,000. Source: National Careers Service
