The team at Trafford College’s Aspire Restaurant is celebrating after retaining AA College Rosette ‘Highly Commended’ status.
The AA College Rosette Scheme is designed to recognise the efforts of students, both front and back of house who are the future of the hospitality industry.
The college accreditation process, provided by People 1st, identifies colleges offering exceptional hospitality training, and those that perform above and beyond as centres of excellence in a specialist field. Trafford College received the ‘Highly Commended’ award which is the premier accolade that can be achieved.
Matthew Shaw, Head of Curriculum for hospitality, said: “It’s a great honour to retain our Highly Commended status and this award celebrates the hard work, passion and excellence demonstrated by both our students and lecturing team. We pride ourselves on making students ‘work ready’ and this accolade recognises just that!”
The accreditation follows on the back of Aspire’s success in the AA College Restaurant of the Year competition, where they have made it through to the finals next month for the second year running.
