Henry impresses at careers event

Academy 92 player and Trafford College student, Henry Eadie has received fantastic feedback from his former high school after speaking at a careers event.

Henry, who has completed the Subsidiary Diploma as part of the first year of the Academy 92 programme at Trafford College, was recently asked to return to Cardinal Allen Catholic High School in Fleetwood for their speed networking event, where pupils got the opportunity to speak to a range of professionals from different occupational areas.

Joanne Sumner, from the careers advice and guidance department at the school, said: “Henry was the most polite, confident and enthusiastic young man. It was great to see him again. Throughout the day Henry spoke to around 60 Year-10 pupils explaining what he does on a daily basis, how hard he works, and the need to work hard to gain GCSEs.

“It was a great opportunity for our pupils to hear first-hand what it’s like to work in the world of sport – and even more so from an former pupil, who they can easily relate to. Feedback from the students was really positive too.”
