Cabin Crew students were put to the ultimate test recently when they were selected to work with leading global ingredient solutions provider, Ingredion, at the Food Ingredients Europe 2017 exhibition in Frankfurt.
Ingredion provide ingredients that are found in the foods, beverages, personal care items, pharmaceuticals and many other products that people utilise around the world every day. The exhibition took place over three days to showcase food and drink prototypes to their customers that strike the balance between nutritional content, affordability and deliciousness. Over the 3 days the talented students provided hospitality for their staff and customers on the stand, and made 1,883 cups of coffee, and thousands of soft drinks and plates of food!
Chris Lightfoot, Culinology Lead for EMEA, said: “Our FiE 2017 Culinology campaign ‘The Tour of Tasty Trends’ in which we showcased some of our products in street food concepts was our most successful to-date. On behalf of the Ingredion business EMEA we would like to personally thank Trafford College staff members Kay, Amanda and Becky in successfully delivering a high-end hospitality package across three consecutive days. The enthusiastic, flexible and above all professional nature of the staff and students supported Ingredion in delivering an outstanding customer experience and achieving our goal for 2017. Many of our customers and colleagues admired the strong work ethic, agility and dedication in supporting our brand. On behalf of Ingredion FiE 2017 team, a huge and well deserved thank you.”
