Two former Cabin Crew students who are travelling the globe with one of the world’s leading airlines, took time out of their busy schedules recently to pay a visit to this year’s intake of Cabin Crew, and Tourism and Aviation students.
Kim Schneider (20) and Zainab Shalhoub (20), both from Altrincham, revisited the classrooms where they began their journeys to the exciting world of aviation and gave current students a taste of the lifestyle that goes hand-in-hand with a job in the travel industry. The eager students put their burning questions to the Thomas Cook employees in a bid to gain an insider’s view of the career that lies ahead of them.
Zainab, originally from Gambia, started her studies with Tourism and Aviation before progressing to Cabin Crew. She moved straight into employment with Thomas Cook and credits her time on the course with helping her to be completely prepared for her interview.
She comments, “The tutors on this course are incredible and give you so much insight into the industry because they’ve worked in it themselves. I just felt completely knowledgeable and confident when it came to my first interview, and I’m so grateful for this next step in my career.”
