A taste of South Africa is coming to Aspire Restaurant at Trafford College in May.
Students will be serving up their South African inspired menu featuring boerewors with mustard dip, seared fillet of dorade and chakalaka African vegetable stew to start, braii chicken, potato stuffing, fresh greens and barbecue tomatoes for the main, followed by malva pudding, Amarula ice cream and candied sticky fruits for dessert. Vegetarian options are also available.
The themed evening takes place on May 3 at 7pm and is priced at £29.95 per person for four courses and matching wines.
The kitchens and front of house service at Aspire is run by current students, providing a real working environment for those studying hospitality courses at the College and fine dining at an affordable price for the public.
