Principal
Sir Bill Moorcroft
With a background in hospitality, Bill began his teaching career in Southport and joined the College as Section Manager in 1994. After three years in the role of Section Manager, he was promoted to Vice Principal before taking up the post of Principal in January 2003. Bill was appointed Principal for Trafford College in September 2007.
Deputy Principal
Peter Carroll
Peter started his working career in the travel and tourism industry and joined the College as a lecturer in1994. Peter¹s roles at the College have included Programme Leader, Director of General Education, Director of Standards & Student Support and he has worked alongside Bill as Deputy Principal since August 2003. Peter was appointed Deputy Principal for Trafford College in September 2007.
Vice Principal Resources
Michelle Leslie
Before joining the College in February 1996 as Personnel Officer, Michelle worked in the public sector in the health authority. After her promotion to Personnel Manager in April 1998, Michelle became Director of Resources in January 2003 and was appointed Vice Principal Resources for Trafford College in September 2007.
Vice Principal Corporate Planning
Antoinette Lythgoe
Antoinette, a qualified accountant, started her working career in the field auditing and has held a number of senior management positions with various colleges in the North West. Antoinette joined the College in February 2005 as Director of Finance and Corporate Planning and became Vice Principal Corporate Planning for Trafford College in September 2007.
Assistant Principal Adult Learning & Skills
Joan Scott
Before joining the College as a lecturer in September 1984, Joan worked in the beauty therapy industry for a number of private companies. Since joining the College, Joan has worked as a Lecturer, Senior Lecturer and was promoted to Section Manager (Hair, Health &Beauty Therapy) in September 1998, prior to being promoted to Director of Adult Learning in October 1999.Joan took up her position as Assistant Principal Adult Learning and Skills for Trafford College in September 2007.
Assistant Principal 14 - 19 Learning
Amanda Melton
Amanda started her career at the College as a lecturer in French and Italian in 1994, having previously worked in software sales. Since then, she has taught in Business, IT, and Creative Studies. Amanda was Section Manager, Marketing & Learner Support Services before being appointed Assistant Principal Communication and Customer Services in September 2007, and is now Assistant Principal for 14 - 19 Learning.
Director of Finance
Brent Cameron
Brent, also a qualified accountant, joined the College as a Section Manager for Finance in January 2006. Prior to working for the College, Brent held a number of senior finance positions in the private sector and more recently was appointed Director of Finance for Trafford College in September 2007.
Director of Human Resources
Gail Haworth
Gail joined the college in May 2009 as Director of Human Resources from AstraZeneca, a FTSE100 global pharmaceutical company. A Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and a member of the Institute of Directors, Gail has been a HR practitioner for 15 years and brings with her a wealth of experience gained across a broad range of organisations in both the private and third sector.
Director of Management Information Systems
Angela Brooks
Angela has had a number of roles in Management Information across the region in her career. Before joining Trafford College in 2009 she had previously headed up MIS departments at Warrington and Tameside colleges.
Director of Premises
Keith Linton
Keith started his career in the Construction industry, from which he joined the College in a curriculum role. He has since had numerous roles in the College including Business Development Consultant, Industrial Liaison, Curriculum Development Coordinator for full-cost courses and Section Manager of Electrical Engineering & Building Services.
Director of ICT
Ronnie Perpete
Ronnie joined the College in April 1996 as a Computer Systems Support Officer and was promoted to Section Manager, Information Systems in April 1999. Ronnie headed this function until his appointment as Director of Information and Communication Technology for Trafford College in September 2007.
