Ofsted Inspection
Trafford College has received an outstanding accolade from Ofsted following its recent inspection. The report is tribute to the remarkable progress that has been made since the merger of North and South Trafford Colleges in 2007, and the quality of service that the College has provided. College Principal, Sir Bill Moorcroft, described the judgment as 'recognition of the ongoing professionalism and continued support from all staff across the College'. Beacon Award

IB World School Status
Trafford College has recently been awarded IB World School Status to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma or IB.
New to the curriculum for September 2009, the College is the only provider in Trafford authorised to offer this esteemed qualification, further demonstrating that the College is one of the best 14-19 education and training establishments in the wider community. National Skills Academy Status
The College is recognised as a National Skills Academy in both Hospitality and Sport. This accolade for an employer, educational establishment or training provider identifies excellence in both content and delivery, helping employers and individuals make informed choices when selecting a training provider. Two Ticks accreditation
Two Tick's accreditation was recently awarded to the College for its positive and proactive approach in supporting disabled employees. The Two Ticks accreditation is awarded by Jobcentre Plus to organisations who have agreed to make certain positive commitments regarding the employment, retention, training and career development of disabled people. The award acknowledges the College's ongoing commitment to developing a workforce that represents the true diversity of the local community and is proactive in ensuring equality for all.
